Movies I saw last week-1

Last week I happened to see three very good movies.

Mozhi, directed by Radhamohan was excellent. A guy working in music industry (prithvi) meets a deaf/dumb girl (Jo) living in his apartment complex and falls in love (as usual!!). But that's the only similarity between this movie and the rest. Though the story can be said in one sentence, the way it was portrayed on screen was stunning. I laughed, cried and basically lived with the characters from scene one to the end. The best thing about this movie is - the characters are as real as you can get.

Jo was beautiful. She talks with her eyes and expressions. After a hour into the movie, I started understanding the sign language that she uses. One thing- we sure lost a very good actress.

Prithvi, Prakashraj and swarnamalya did their part to the T. It's unsurprising that Vairamuthu, when asked about the movie that he liked writing lyrics for the most, picked "Mozhi".

Thanks to Radhamohan for showing us real people on screen and thanks to Prakashraj for producing such rare kind of movies.
