Madrid Masters Tournament

I still can't understand why some government agencies are protesting against employing models as "ball-girls" in madrid ATP tournament. The reason- it is a little distracting for the players. Are you kidding me? Looks like they would ask ladies in the mixed doubles to wear non- skimpy clothes because "Oh, there are two guys on the court, you know".I am pretty sure the crowd and even the players are having a great time. Federer losing in the tournament is definetely not because of these pretty girls.

I for one will be going to madrid next year to follow the ATP masters.

Just have a look at them.. are they distracting?!!!

7. Super Bowl 42: New England Vs Saints or Cowboys. Winner: NE Patriots.

8. Why is Mr. Amitabh Bachan still acting?!!!

9. Britney Spears' VMA performance.....Oh my God!!! Thank God I was watching Cowboys-Giants Game.

10. ICC's new format allows India to enter the second round, provided we win against scotland. Super Eight's Grouping: India, England, New Zealand and South Africa.

Crazy thing that I heard last week: Kyla Ebbert, 23, was reprimanded by South West airlines for wearing a revealing dress. She was asked to adjust her dress and then board the plane. It's not like she was wearing a bikini top; it was just a tank-top and a mini skirt!!!!

It's football time, baby!!!

After a long wait, College football is back. Saturdays won't be the same hereafter. Just wait for another week, NFL will make a grand entrance. After several months of draft talks, Nick Saban's $32 million contract talks, pre- season polls, controversies 'cos of the polls......and finally all comes down to this!!!

Games to watch this week!!!

1. LSU tigers take on Miss. State this Thursday. (I saw the game today and it went tigers' way)

2. Virginia Tech vs East Carolina (Noon, Saturday). After the Tech tragedy, the whole US is waiting for this day. I don't think any other college football team will play with such emotional backdrop as the Hokies this season. When the Hokies emerge from the tunnel with metallica's "Enter Sandman" being played, they will be cheered not only by the 66000 people at the stadium but also by the whole of the United States. "United we stand".

3. Notre Dame vs Georgia Tech (3PM, saturday). Did Charlie Weis reveal the quarterback's name for the opener or is it still a secret?

4. Kansas State vs Auburn (7 PM, saturday). Wildcats' season opener against #18 Auburn. Go wildcats.
